This week we have set aside to present our alternative "what if" news piece modeled after the NYT Special Edition featured in The Yes Men Fix the World and using the perspectives we have developed throughout the semester to understand the legacies and contemporary realities of racism and its adjacent antagonisms of classism, sexism and homophobia.
Presentations will take 3-5 minutes and should detail your choice of topic as well as its relevance to the class. If you are wanting to use images or your article, make sure you notify me in your (e-mailed) final submission of your projects. As we discussed before, the Presentation Sechedule will follow class attendance.
